Mission Statement
Something doesn’t seem just right, but you’re not a lawyer and the legalese and technicalities of bringing a lawsuit give you a headache. You’re not alone. My job is to make understandable in straightforward terms our complex legal system. This means keeping you informed of important developments and promptly responding to your inquiries. Although I've decades of experience in taking on large and well-financed opponents, I appreciate that this may be your first lawsuit. Your case is important to you and will be treated this way, with my full commitment and personalized attention.
My belief is that my effectiveness is increased through balancing specialized and general skills. On the one hand, my clients benefit from my experience in a variety of complex lawsuits, which allows me to import lessons from one type of case into another. On the other hand, I do not claim to represent all clients on all types of cases, even on all types of employee claims or business disputes. My experience and ongoing focus insofar as employee claims generally involve wage and hour claims representing an employer’s practice applied to several employees. I will only accept the representation of employees on wage and hour claims.
I believe that observing the mandatory laws that protect employees and that prohibit unfair business practices in business dealings is fundamental to the welfare of this country and to the quality of life of all who live and work here. I believe in full compliance no matter how large the company. I will only take a case where I am convinced of its merit and prepared to take it to trial if an appropriate settlement that is acceptable to you is not achieved.
